Delete your KUUME account

You can delete your account and its data at any time. You don’t need the app installed.

Delete it yourself

  1. Go to KUUME Studio and sign in with the email address you use for KUUME. Studio works for every KUUME account, not only for creators.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Request account deletion, type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm. If your last sign-in is more than 15 minutes old, you will be asked to sign in again first.

If you can’t sign in, email support@kuume.app from the address on your account. We confirm the request with you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What happens

  • Access to the account stops immediately, and you are signed out.
  • We then delete your profile, synced practice sessions and their playback events, journal entries, gathering memberships, uploaded files and your sign-in identity. This normally finishes within minutes, and at the latest within 30 days.
  • Private gatherings you organized are canceled, and their invitation links stop working.
  • If you are a creator, your published rituals are withdrawn and your public profile is removed. Review and rights records are kept without your name where we need them to show who approved what.
  • Backups made by our database provider can contain deleted data until they expire. Details are in our privacy notice.

Not covered by account deletion

  • Practice on your phone. History, reflections and downloads stored on your phone are removed when you delete the app or its data.
  • The letter. Letters from the sauna is separate from your account. Use the unsubscribe link in any letter.
