KUUME is a home for sauna masters and hosts. Shape your ritual once, guide it the way you would in person, and people can follow it at their own pace, wherever they sauna.
What you get
Free tools
KUUME Studio and your creator profile cost nothing during the pilot, and we help you make your first ritual. Shape the sequence, record your voice in the browser and hear the whole ritual before anyone else does.
Credit and a public profile
Your name is on every ritual you make. Your profile shows your introduction, your tradition, your rituals and a link to your own website.
Your own events
Your profile points people to the rituals you hold in person. When hosted events open on KUUME, your upcoming ones can be listed there too.
Optional support on the web
Where it is available, your web profile can link to Ko-fi, Patreon or a similar page where people can support you. Payments go through that provider, not KUUME, and it may charge fees. Supporting you gives people nothing extra in KUUME.
No promises of income: KUUME does not pay per play, ask for exclusivity or charge you a subscription.
How it works
Profile
Tell people who you are: your name, a short introduction, your tradition and a portrait. An editor checks your profile before it is public.
Ritual
Shape your sequence in KUUME Studio, from a simple template or from the start. Every ritual begins with a preparation and ends on dry land, and the editor checks each phase as you go.
Record
Record your voice in the browser or upload it, or write the guidance as text. Add music you made or have licensed, and confirm the rights for every file.
Review
Listen to the whole ritual in the preview, then submit it. Another KUUME editor reviews every ritual and every file; nobody approves their own work.
Publish
Once approved, your ritual is in the app with your name on it. A change becomes a new version, and people who downloaded the earlier one keep it.
What people see
The app shows one phase at a time: what to do now, the time, and what comes next. Your voice carries the ritual, and the written instruction is always there for people who prefer text.

What we ask of you
- Quality
- A ritual people can follow on their own: a clear sequence, short instructions in plain language, realistic transitions and no health claims.
- Safety
- Leaving the heat is always allowed, and water is always a choice and never timed. KUUME Studio keeps water phases untimed, and your reviewer checks the rest.
- Rights
- Your own recordings, and music you made yourself or have licensed for worldwide offline listening. You confirm the rights and the speaker’s consent for every file. You own your work; KUUME gets a license to share your published rituals in the app.
- Review
- You accept the creator terms, and editors review every ritual and file before it is published. They may ask for changes.
Where KUUME is now
KUUME is in an invitation-only beta. We are Petter, Marius and Steffen, three founders who love the sauna, and we are inviting a small number of sauna masters and hosts to make the first rituals with us. Creator accounts are by invitation for now: if you guide sauna rituals and would like to take part, write to us with a short introduction and a link to your practice.
