Support

How can we help?

Short answers for people who use KUUME and for the sauna masters who create rituals.

Write to us

Email support@kuume.app. We read every message and reply as soon as we can.

Please don’t send passwords, sign-in links or your private reflections. For a problem in the app, tell us your phone model, its system version, the KUUME version if you can see it, and what happened.

Using KUUME

Do I need an account?

No. You can start a ritual without an account, and your practice history stays on your phone. Sign in with your email address only if you want to keep published sessions across devices.

Is KUUME free?

Yes. There are no subscriptions, ads or in-app purchases.

Should I take my phone into the sauna?

No. Keep your phone on dry land, outside the heat and away from water. Each phase has a short written instruction, so you can read what comes next when you step out. If a ritual has recorded sound, play it through a speaker that suits the room and the venue’s rules.

How do cold plunges and sea dips work?

They are always your choice and never preselected. KUUME does not time you in the water. It waits until you confirm you are back on dry land, and you can always stay on land or skip the phase instead. Please read sauna safety first.

Can I stop in the middle?

Yes. Pause, skip a phase or end the ritual whenever you want. Leaving the heat early is always fine.

Can I use KUUME offline?

Rituals you download keep working without a connection for a limited time, at most 30 days. KUUME tells you when a download needs to be renewed online.

Where is my data, and how do I delete it?

Without an account, your practice stays on your phone, and deleting the app removes it. With an account you can download your data or delete the account at any time. See Delete your account and our privacy notice.

A place listing is wrong or the venue has closed

Open the place in Find and choose Report a problem with this listing. Tell us if it has closed, the address or map location is wrong, the facilities differ, or it is listed twice. You don’t need an account; add your email only if you want a reply. We check the venue’s own source again and correct or hide the listing.

Report a ritual or a rights problem

If a ritual contains something harmful or wrong, or uses a voice, music or artwork without permission, choose Report this ritual at the bottom of the ritual’s page. You don’t need an account, and you can add an email address if you would like an answer. We can withdraw a ritual while we look into it. Copies already downloaded stop working when their offline permission expires.

How do I stop the letter?

Every letter has an unsubscribe link. The letter is separate from your KUUME account.

Creating rituals

How can I publish a ritual on KUUME?

KUUME works with invited sauna masters and hosts. For creators explains what creators get and how it works. If you guide sauna rituals and would like to create one, email us a short introduction and a link to your practice. Creator accounts are by invitation.

How do I get into KUUME Studio?

Open the invitation link you received and sign in at KUUME Studio with the same email address. Editors also set up two-step verification.

What do I need?

A clear sequence of phases, your recorded voice or written guidance, and music you made yourself or have licensed for worldwide offline listening. You confirm the rights and the speaker’s consent for every file you upload.

Who reviews and publishes?

Another KUUME editor reviews every ritual and every file before it is published. Nobody can approve their own work. Each publication is a new version, and people who already downloaded a version keep it.

Can I change or withdraw a ritual?

Yes. Edit a draft and submit it for review to publish a new version. To take a ritual down, email us and we withdraw it. Copies already downloaded stop working within 30 days.

Who owns my work?

You do. You give KUUME a license to host and distribute your published rituals in KUUME. The terms of use explain the details.
